The calendar does the scheduling
Connect Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 and Canto reads the meetings you have coming up, finds the join link, and sends the notetaker to the ones you chose. Recurring meetings are a single decision rather than a daily one: choose once for a series and the rest follow. Nothing is mirrored into a database you cannot see, the calendar is read when the screen needs it.
One bot per meeting, however many of you are there
When several Canto users sit in the same call, one notetaker joins and each of them gets their own copy of the recording, the transcript and the notes in their own account. Not one bot each, which is what the participant list of a meeting with four Canto users would otherwise look like.
Recording is announced, not hidden
The notetaker is a visible participant with a name you choose, in the list for the whole call, admitted by whoever runs the meeting. That is the opposite of a covert recording, and it is deliberate. It does not replace telling people what the recording is for, which is a legal question rather than a product one.
